Best Things To Do While Visiting 30A

Planning a trip to the beautiful sandy beaches of 30A, Florida? You've come to the right place then! 30A is one of the best places to visit in the Gulf. From the picturesque towns, great food and incredible sunsets, there's a lot to see and do with your family.

Here, I'll outline the best things to do while during your vacation.

Schedule Fanily Photos

Given that I am a Family & Motherhood photographer, I cannot recommend this enough!

There are SO many talented photographers in the area and I highly recommend scheduling an hour of your day to get updated family photos taken. These images are something you can hold onto and cherish forever. Don't miss out on this opportunity.

If you're interested in scheduling a session with me, please email me at: kayla@kaylamariphotography.com. I would be honored to capture timeless and authentic moments with your loved one.

Shopping Essentials

There's tons of great shopping around the area, but these are a few of my favorites!

  1. Grand Boulevard: You'll find your higher end stores like Anthropologie, Johnnie-O, Peter Millar, Lululemon, and Alter'd State

  2. The Shops at The Big Chill: I absolutely love Yellowfly Trading Co and High Tide. These are my go-to stores when shopping for myself and client closet

  3. Destin Commons: This has all the major stores you could ask for like Steve Madden, Francesca's, Hollister, H&M, Forwvwe 21, etc.

Coffee Is A Must

If you're like me, coffee is the essential to everyday life and I cannot function without a good cup of joe every day. Here are my all time favorite coffee shops in the area. Most of them are very Instagram worthy.

  1. Black Bear Bread Co: There are several now including Grayton Beach, Seaside and Grand Boulevard. They have excellent coffee along with mouth watering cinnamon rolls, scones, croissants and muffins! I also recommend trying the avocado toast, french toast and bacon, egg and cheese on their multigrain bread.

  2. Kith + Kin: My personal favorite for good cold brew coffee. They also have a wide arrangement of bakery items from Blue Mountain Bakery

  3. Sunrise Coffee: The donuts are as good as they look. I can attest to this. This is my husband's favorite place for a good coffee! If you like stronger coffee, I recommend adding 1-2 shots of espresso

  4. NEW! Stock & Brew: This is a brand new cafe in The District.

  5. Fonville Press Market & Cafe: Staying in or around Alys Beach? Then, this is the place for you! Bonus points because it is SO Instagram-worthy

  6. Amavida: Last but certainly not least, we have Amavida conveniently located in Seaside and Rosemary Beach.

Best Eats Along the Beach:

The best way to my heart is food, and 30A has some of the best restaurants around. Here are my personal favorites!

  1. Red Bar & Louis Louis: Both restaurants are managed by the same family and have almost identical menu offerings. This is my favorite place in 30a by fat. Be aware for Red Bat, that the lunch and dinner are very different. I would recommend stopping by at dinner but their burger and wings for lunch are very good. Especially for a quick bite before or after the beach.

  2. Red Fish Taco: One of the best places to get fish tacos in 30A. Their taco salad is also VERY good!

  3. Bronzinnis Pizza: I'm originally from New Jersey, so pizza is a sacred artform and Bronzinni's does perfectly. These are NY Style slices so come hungry!

  4. Stinky's Fish Camp: Stinky's always has great fresh fish options

  5. Shunk Gulley: Best oysters with a great view.

  6. NEW! Mimmos: I'm Italian so when I tell you Mimmos is legit... It's legit. You cannot fo wrong with anything on the menu.

I hope this helped you navigate the best places to be while visiting our quaint town of 30A. If you enjoyed any of these places, drop me a line or comment below and let me know! Id love to hear what you think!
