These styled sessions were designed not only to help you build images that make your portfolio, but to further a sense of community for family photographers.

Here's What You Can Expect
TWO
Breakfast & Lunch
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and lunch provided by local vendors to keep you energized throughout the day. Begin the workshop with a seated breakfast, where we can break the ice and get to know one another. Then, a Q&A lunch will be held at Grace's studio, setting the perfect tone for a productive and inspiring day.
ONE
Two Styled Sessions
Experience two iconic Northern Michigan meticulously curated styled shoots designed to elevate your portfolio and create images you'll cherish. Featuring one captivating maternity session and one heartwarming family session, these shoots provide you with a collection of stunning, professionally styled photographs that will enhance your portfolio.
THREE
Community
As moms who works remotely, we understand the isolation that can come with it, and being a photographer can often feel just as lonely. The Keepsake Collective offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow photographers, sharing unique perspectives and new techniques while fostering a sense of community and friendship.
YOUR TENTATIVE ITINERARY
8:00 AM | BREAKFAST
We will all come together for a shared meal at a local restaurant where you will find beautiful florals, name tags, activity books, your latest Kindred Path Magazine and some icebreaker activities so we can all get to know one another.
9:30 AM | FIRST STYLED SESSION
Next, we will move onto our first Maternity Styled Session lead by Kayla Mari Photography which will feature florals and our beautiful maternity model. During this time, Kayla will lead prompts and poses for attendees to understand how to evoke more natural and emotive images for their clients.
12:00 PM | LUNCH & HEADSHOTS
We'll come together for a light lunch in the studio, providing a perfect opportunity to connect and recharge. During this time, we'll host a Q&A and breakout sessions to address any questions and share insights. Additionally, we will take professional headshots of all attendees, which will be available for download after the workshop.
5:30 PM | FINAL STYLED SESSION
Finally, we will move onto our styled Family Session led by Grace Hudson of Captured By Grace Photography, which will be set in an adventurous location allowing for playful and natural movement amongst stunning northern Michigan scenery. Grace will guide you in prompting families in ways that create timeless and joyful images, and leave everyone talking about how much fun photos actually were.

Hi, I'm Kayla. The owner of Kayla Mari Photography. A lifestyle digital and film photographer and Editor of The Kindred Path. I am so blessed to say that I get to live out my dreams every time I release the shutter.
I'm also a wife, mom, and graphic designer. My favorite things in life are spending time with my family, traveling, working out and having a good book in hand.

Grace Hudson is a top Traverse City Wedding, Family, Branding, & Portrait photographer with an authentic and natural style. Her passion is to give her clients an elevated experience and stunning gallery of vibrant and timeless photos in and around Michigan's beautiful lakes, beaches, small towns, and forests.
She’s also a mom of 2 toddlers, a water & adventure lover, and she and her family are taking on their second major home flip while living in it!
